People of Frederick, I bring you Area 31 and their legit downtown’s DIY indie cinema arthouse theater -this evening they are presenting as part of their 1st run Select Screening series High-Rise. Start time is 8pm sharp, and if history is any indication, you want to get tix in advance (through eventbrite -get tix here). Area 31’s Embrace of the Serpent screening sold out in April -I literally saw sad people turned away at the door for lack of an eventbrite ticket AND Tale of Tales screening in May was nearly sold out. Hi Frederick. Today is D-Day+1 for me, last nite was the end of ArtomaticMusicFest (amazingly rad: Atlas at Last, Time Columns & Drop Electric crushed it- more on that later). Tonight: last concert ever for Old Indian (all part of a pretty big city wide Thing music fest).
